Above three photos are courtesy of Doug Reeves and were shot at Van's Homecoming 2007. The lower photo is one of my favorites, clic on it for an even larger version. This is my pal Randy Griffin's RV-8 and my little -3. Griff and I started building our RV-8s together in the late 90's but he took a bit longer so that I was finishing my RV-3 as he was finishing his -8. We both liked the paint scheme on my old RV-8 so much that we both used it with slight variations on these planes. We teamed up and painted both planes together in pieces in my garage before flying them in the fall of '06. Info on Griff's plane can be found here. |
